Along with his passion for design, he has an equal love for illustration that draws (pardon the pun) from his long history of doodling. While ambitious towards all opportunities, what really turns his crank is a project that requires a marrying of both illustration and design.
Be it a corporate identity or a custom pair of shoes, odds are good that Andrew will be eager to work on the project. Check

Since coming across his first pencil, Andrew Kolb has been drawing. Much to the dismay of his parents, he didn’t discover paper until some time later.
Time passed and Andrew grew older (as children often do). Soon enough, the time came to start thinking about living beyond the support of his parents and he just couldn’t bear to make his love for creating a mere hobby. So, with a portfolio full of work and a head full of dreams, he applied to the Graphic Design and Advertising program at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Canada. A rigorous screening ensued and he was accepted!
The next three years were full of laughter and hard work. It had all paid off as he graduated from the program that taught him so much more than fundamental communication design.
From here, he found himself at a crossroad. Instead of immediately going in search of a job in his field, Andrew opted to further his education on an international scale.
Again, to the dismay of his family, he ventured overseas to obtain his degree in communication design from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. Another year of laughter and hard work followed (though admittedly in a slightly warmer climate).
As a visual communicator, Andrew has a very enthusiastic attitude. Always keen about the next project, he strives for results that have longevity and yet invokes a response to the effect of “Huh,
I wouldn’t have expected to see that.”
